Will this cam pass smog?

I found this camshaft, and am thinking about installing it.
Will it work w/my computer and smog?

Good luck with that.  The 268 is the hottest cam Mopar made.

Good luck with that.  The 680 is the hottest cam Mopar made.
is this the same one jf got? not sure if there's a smog test in costa rica but if it is he can give some insight.

He has the middle of the road 250, different cam.

i see, this could be the one that requires the 1000rpm idle in which case could be challenging on the emissions i would think, but would be interesting to find out if it would pass - the price is right though

Mine is the 450, not the 480, but I have no increase in idle...

I ended up selling my 240* because I moved to a SMOG state.  Actually, THE smog state.  They run it on a Dyno at two RPM's.  1500 RPM and 2500 RPM, IIRC.  The problem has to do with the overlap of the cam has.  You can increase the lift while retaining the overlap by adding a different ratio rocker.  TerraYellow sells them for the 2.5L/4.0L although I don't think anyone has tried them.

That cam is missing all of the tappets and lube bottle, so it's been opened to say the least.

can't remember which one had the requirement but obviously not yours though - the rpm won't increase by itself, but i think the reason the one i saw was listed at higher idle rpm is as with other performance cams they have a rough idle (or with the more extreme won't idle at stock rpm) and the minimum rpm is a requirement to have the engine working in an acceptable manner. So you would need to mod the idle somehow in order to get to the min rpm requirements

I run Yella Terra roller rockers, but they are 1.6 (stock ratio).

To be fair, my Jeep always had a high idle (around 800~900 RPM's)
