vapor lock yj 2.5

Ok  my jeep starts just fine when its cold . i drive to town  18 mls. normal temp., turn off ,go in some were work shopping ect. come out and it wont start :brick: with out starter fluid .ive lined the fuel lines with rubber hose were they come up by the exhaust . could i be vapor locking ?  weak fuel pump?  any ideas? ???

not sure what you mean by vapor lock, but if your fuel pump is in the tank it's unlikely (if vapor lock you mean that the pump has vapors in it and it won't pull fuel out of the tank). when you say starter fluid do you mean the spray kind that you use in a diesel?

I've never heard of it being an issue with the YJ since the fuel lines are well away from the exhaust. 

Vapor lock happens when the fuel in the lines turns from liquid to gas.  Usually do to heat or altitude.
