Cappa's J20 on ebay
« on: January 07, 2006, 03:14:08 PM »
Now, I think Cappa's a bit of a tool for the stuff he started at POR but here's his J20.  I thought it was a nice truck although the tires are a bit big for my taste.

Vehicle Description

1973 jeep j20, as seen on cover of JP magazine, also seen in Four Wheeler magazine and a competitor in the 2005 Top Truck Challenge.

Due to personal reasons I  have to let my  toy go, time and space issues, here is a link to the buildup article in JP magazine about the jeep project called "Hotdog".

http://jpmagazine.com/projectbuild/154_0401_home/

also if you go to www.fourwheeler.com you can see videos and pictures of it in this years 2005 Top Truck Challenge. most any picture angle can be seen here of this jeep

2.5 ton Rockwell axles (one boot has a rip), 6:72 gears, T-18 with 6.32 1st, USA 6x6 pinion brakes with wilwood calipers, detroit lockers, twin stick 3.8:1 atlas II transfercase, 15k ramsey winch, 49x21x17 irok tires on trailready beadlocks plus 1 spare 49" irok no wheel also has spare set of smaller wheels for transporting, 4-inch Skyjacker spring-overs, M.O.R.E. shackles, torque rod with Rubicon Express joints/stock spring-overs, relocated spring hangers, traction bar, hydraulic assist steering, optima battery, truck avenger carb. Hooker header, flowmaster exhaust.

****Runs and drives but the engine has a knock, so the 304 AMC engine will need attention at some point otherwise all other major components are basically new or fresh.

Jeep has a pretty cool beer tap shifter knob for easy grabbin of the gears, pepboy chrome skull beer holder, authentic california mud in the cab, retro jeep bench seat, most of the glass is missing or broken, some of the gauges work some of the time.

Will consider trades, other jeeps, rock crawlers, buggies, hotrods, ratrods, or other specialty or custom vehicles, tell me what you have to trade?

jeep is sold AS/IS with a clear California Title,  no warranties, no guarantees, no returns, no shipping and jeep listed locally for $9,000 so auction is subject to end at any time.

To my knowledge this jeep is not street legal but may vary in your state.

I am the private owner of said jeep, JP magazine nor any of JP magazines staff  have any current affiliation with above said vehicle.

located in Las Vegas
