Why does AA wait?
« on: December 23, 2009, 01:05:21 PM »
I've been getting AA ads for the past few days.  Why does AA wait till the eve before Xmas eve to put stuff up for sale.  Of course no one had money since we've already spent it all on gifts.   :finger:

Free shipping some gear oil and a shift knob?  Doesn't seem like much of a sale for something that expensive.

Yeah, they had a 10% + Free Shipping but it didn't apply to the Atlas.

They are pretty much the only game in town for aftermarket T-cases. Yes there are others out there but AA is the KING! I guess they don't feel like they need to run sales since people stand in line to get an Atlas II or the 4 speed.

I've never hear of an issue with a Stak but they do have a smaller market share.  I'm kind of interested in the AA Rubicon crawler box.

Stak has had a ton of issues with their big 3 speed boxes (not the mini monster).  They like to jump out of gear.  There's about a 10 page thread on pirate with dozens of people having the issue.  Staks "solutions" have been laughable so far.

A guy in my club has a 3 speed Stak. The first one locked up on him on the Freeway. They sent out another one but it won't stay in gear. I'd stay with AA products if your looking to replace the 231.

Hmmm, that sucks.  I wish there was more competition in this area.
