A search on that part number gives me nada...I saw some for an atv winch that look very similar but not sure on the ampage

Huh?  Just go to the main page of where the link was from.  That is who sells them.  Otherwise find yourself a ford style solonoid that is rated for continuous duty and will carry 100 Amps.

I am sorry dont mean to test your patience old jeep. Just I am getting a bunch of different answers. Some from my local club and from other sites.

I cant find any info on how much oil the 8274 holds. I read somewhere that its 30wieght just not how much. I filled it so the 2nd gear caught it at the bottom and had some leakage overnight. I very well might have a bad seal or possibly overfilled a bit

Manual says 6 ozs. of 30 weight oil.  It winds up just below the drum seal.   They tend to leak at the drum seal, probabally where it's coming from.  I used double lipped viton seals when I redid mine.  Don't ask what the part number was, I've got no idea, I just measured the old one and looked in the seal book by size.

Might want to look at these if you havn't already.  They are the factory service manual and parts manual for the older 8274.
(Don't worry - Warn doesn't care if you distribute these.  If you call them up they will send you copies for free)

Thanks for the help guys. I ended up using the golfcart/marine solenoids. We used 2gauge all around. I just will order a 3rd solenoid as a back up if one goes. The 8274 worked great on the trail and the line speed was awesome. More time to wheel than in recovery. Final tally for cost.
