I run Sunfire seats and am very happy with them. Direct bolt in on a YJ, not sure how different the TJ risers are.

Mastercraft or similar suspension seats are worth it.  500-700 mile road trips aren't a problem.  Offroad, they're supportive and keep you from moving around.

I'm running Rugged Ridge Sport seats. Best ~$400 I ever spent. Comfy enough for long trips and they hold you off-road. They even have 4-point harness loops which I might take advantage of someday  :weee:

Oh, and they're a direct bolt-in on YJ's. TJ's need an adapter bracket but it's cheap.

Empi Racetrim seats - nice comfortable seat at a good price.  And according to one of my buddies, every bit as nice as his Corbeaus

If you're gonna bother swapping the seats out in the first place you might as well upgrade.

The seats from newer Jeeps will look newer but that's really about it. I don't think they're more comfortable or any stronger than your factory TJ seats.

Wouldn't really matter that much since under the seat you can usually drill new holes to match the sliders.  The only consideration is getting seats that are too wide and contact the door.  Or if you have a large lockbox.  No lock box makes it easy.
