Anybody try this or know anything about it?

yeah, it will give you an extra 50HP and about 75ftlb of torque....  :nono:

i am obviously sarcastic, save your time and money - if you want information on forced induction there are a lot of posts here related to that.

just as a note, forced induction is increasing the amount of air that the engine inhales per cycle and you can then burn more fuel to produce more power - similar to increasing the displacement of the engine but with a tradeoff since any turbo or supercharger will consume some energy as well

EDIT: the device you listed is not a turbo or supercharger, same goes for the electric turbos on ebay - just a way to make easy money with false claims and placebo effect.

What sharpxmen said. It's useless. In fact it will probably make your lose power, because all it does is add a huge restriction to your intake piping.

before you go turbo you can make some other mods to increase power (enlarged throttle body as in 4.0L or even better a 62/63/64 mm, more fuel by increasing fuel pressure, high flow air filter, electric fan, exhaust header and high performance cat and muffler) - all these would give you 15HP or so if not a bit more depending on what you use. You can also try a t/b spacer as it's been known to provide some increase as well.

My dad bought one of those electric superchargers for his gasser after he sold his Duramax in September... I had no comment for him. He claimed it put out a whopping 2.5 lb
boost and thought it was something to brag about... Until I told him his duramax put out 20-25+ stock.

The stupid thing only works at full throttle. And it does virtually nothing then too. Huuuuuge waste of cash
