So this isn't the forum for it (so I'll do another post in the for sale forum), but wouldn't these speakers and this box be just perfect for any Jeeper?

Dimensionally it fits perfect in the back or a Jeep (without the rear seat).

Truthfuuly, the speakers inside aren't that great, and I could ship it anywhere, (it weighs alot).

But it's worth looking at.

Honestly, anything that requires me to take the rear seat out is too big.

Not if 7/8 of that space is used for storage and lock box. And you don't need the rear seat.

Ya!!  4 seater Jeep??   Sheez, what's next?  Extra long wheelbase?  Add 10" to one?  What are they thinking??

Now that I think of it, that box would fit in the back of an Unlimited :D ...

My rear seat has been taken out and put in storage for quite some time already.  I needed space for the ARB freezer/fridge and the tools and the big bag o' stuff.

I am also running an amp that is bolted to the side of the wheel well and a 8" sub in a removable box.
Here's a few pictures of the mess back there...

And yes that is a 1 gallon gas container back there!  Not only does it smell, it's also dangerous.   I try to strap down as much as I can while I'm wheeling, but if I roll on the city streets, I'll expect much more troubles than gasoline everywhere.  I have a tendency to run out of gas more often than the norm.  I always 'think' that I could make it just a little bit more, and I usually never do.

Comments and criticisms are always welcomed.

Well, here's the difference.

If I'm going out on a trail it usually isn't a day trip.  It's 3-5 day's.  That means a cooler, cooking stuff, tent, sleeping bags, clothes, tools, spare parts, extra fluids, water, gas, etc...  Even with the rear seat out, I'm short on room.  Now add a second person and it gets tight.

I don't like piling gear higher then the wheel wells and it has to all be strapped down.  Putting stuff on the rack is a last resort that I don't like using since it causes a whole lot of body roll with gear up there.

This is what I'd want a very low profile setup and be somewhat waterproof.  Having decent sound and storage space makes it a bit more difficult.

(I've got my amp in the same location, but on the driver side.)

Well i decided agianst making my own box to mount the rear seat into, mostly for saftey reasons.  So instead i took my center console and ut a hole n the back for i believe a 7 inch sub.  It sounds okay, deffinatly not competition grade but its enough to make the difference.  I just took one of the subs out of one of those 20 dollar walmart boxes, and hooked up my old crap 300 watt amp to it.
sry about the picture quality, i used my fone, i was freezing otherwise i wouldve gotten my camera.
I'll take better pic this up coming weekend.

Here is my setup. $19.99 at Walmart, they actually work very well with my 6 speaker sound bar. I'm not even using an amp, just pushing off of the head unit.
