Jeeps are not supposed to be comfortable, or a stylish interior, and should in no single scenario ever have actual leather anywhere. it is supposed to be a bare bones utilitarian vehicle. not some posh car to replace the mini-van for the starbucks sucking soccer moms who have no idea what the lockers or sway bar disconnects do or when they should be used. honestly, i don't even think jeeps should have automatic transmissions or airconditioning. if it's warm enough to warrant a/c, the top should be down.

Problem is, who would buy it?  Jeeps aren't agricultural tools or apart of the War Machine anymore.  If they don't change then they die.

As for the warm enough for A/C, have you ever been in an area with high humidity or extreme high heat?  Top down does not help.

in pa most of our summer is somewhere near 90-90 everyday. (90 degrees, 90% humidity). top down is plenty fine. even when it's 100 degrees out it isn't too uncomfortable.

You should come to either Panama or the Costa Rican coast...  Top down is NO GOOD!  San José is fine, but as soon as you leave the cetnral valley, it gets HOT!
