Marlin Czajkowski's Toy runs 1,372:1.  Love those old Toyota's.

The interesting things is if you move the engine forward, you'd probably have room for a Marlin Crawler.  The Doubler adds 6" like the Klune V.  With two 4.70:1's you'd have close to 500:1 with 5.13's.  And with 3  you'd have 2000:1

I'm not sure if the Toyota transfer case uses a similar 6 bolt pattern to the Dodge/Jeep.  BUT from what I was reading the W56 and W59 are almost identical to the AX-5.  So at most you'd need to swap the bell housing.  Not sure about the input shaft length but as long as it's not longer then the Jeeps, it could be fixed without swapping that.

The other interesting thing is Marlin sells rebuilds that are supposedly HD then stock.  They're in Fresno so it's not that far.  Makes you wonder about doing a Marlin Crawler.  Something to think about especially if they can build some beef into the transmission.

From what I understand the W56 will swap in behind the 2.5. Then you can run the Toy boxes. You would need to swap the frontend over to pass. drop.
I would guess the 511:1 has 2 4.7 boxes, which is kinda dumb. It's a much more user friendly to have various ratio's in each box.
I know Marlin has 3 boxes on that truck. He did it to prove it could be done. IIRC it has 2 4.7's and a 2.28. But I could be wrong on the ratio's.
Having super low ratio's is all well and good but I have not been in a situation where I wished I had lower gearing. (other than a turtle race) Trail type wheeling I rarely use Lo-Lo 1st. I can't stop it with the clutch out even on dry pavement in 2 lo-lo. I've had the front tires skidding on black top and the idle barely dropped.
If I worked for Marlin or was family I would run his gear for sure. The Toyota stuff is super strong! The gears in those boxes are very large. Plus Marlin is a super nice guy!

I looked at his side and he does have a LHD transfer case available as well as the normal RHD.

I'm sure he's running two 4.7's and one 2.38 as his gearing is a shade over 1000:1.  Seems he's the only one building HD W-series transmissions which is really something to consider.  I mean, if he can build them to withstand something like 300hp and 300TQ, it would make for a pretty small package.  Might be worth it over say a NV3550.  His truck has a 2.7L with a W59, I think.  The 1000:1 is a bit crazy but the 500:1 is more realistic.  I think in the vid he was saying he was in 3rd which dropped his ratio to 6-700:1.  I too don't really like the huge overlap with two 4.7 boxes as you either use one box or you use both.  You don't get the broader range from using two different ratios.

IIRC in the video he said he was in 11th gear. 127:1 or something close to that number.

That would probably be 3rd on the transmission then mix in the doubler boxes.

3rd Gen's had nice lines.  I drove one with 5.13's, Detroits and 33's.  The truck would only do about 55MPH but was fun.  Small cabs though.  I wouldn't mind one.

Although the 4th Gen was in Back to the Future.  Loved that truck too.

My first 4WD was a 81. Other than no power steering I loved that truck!

I was looking at the new Taco's and it's strange.  You cannot get a V6 short cab, short bed.  They force you to get the extended cab or double cab.  Although I've heard the 2.7L is a decent engine.  Seems al trucks are pretty upscale now and you can't get a real utility truck unless you go with the most basic options.
