Rubicon NVG241OR to AX-5
« on: February 03, 2011, 01:24:41 PM »
Anyone ever try this.  I've thought about it on several occasions but never really looked into it that hard.  The main problem is the input shaft which from what I've read recently, can be swapped with a 231's as long as you stick with the right size bearing.  Just curious about it.

I have not seen that one. I wonder if Novak would know about the shafts being able to swap?

Using tools you have not used in a while is like shaking hands with old friends.

did you find a cheap one? they go for quite a bit of cash, might as well look for a second hand atlas (probably cost would be similar).

Nope just curious.  Although I have see some for an OK price.  As much as a 231-J with a HD SYE on it.
