The top of the bolt was 8.8.  What matched closest was (3) M10-1.5x30mm, but they were a few mm shorter. 35mm was too long. Thanks for the grade info, I was wondering what the numbers ment.

i'm pretty sure the original ones are flange head 10.9 (grade 8 equiv), so maybe that's another reason they broke.

Glad I got the new motor mounts  :yikes: ...

Went in pretty easy - all things considered. Hardest bolts were the two upper on the driver side. I was able to get them in via the wheel well with a magnetic pickup tool.

Now, cigar time..  :bandit:

Wow, that really bolts them in!  How is it vibration-wise?

No different from before. I had 1" poly mounts before. Maybe it's the extra weight of the 6 cyclinder? but I've never really heard much noise. I would of went with the rubber mounts, but the poly's hold up better in high heat, and it's 100+ summers out where I'm at in So. Cal. I get more noise from the road and tires than anything.

The I6 vibrates less then the I4.  The extra two cylinders makes for a smoother transition between the first and the last cylinders firing.

That makes sense. It runs a LOT quieter than my 2.5L YJ did and has the same exhaust.
