good thing it was in the driveway, was messing with the t-case shifters and had to turn it to be able to shift in high/low, completely stopped turning. I thought at first i have a bad connection to the battery, or the battery died, not so. took it out, 2 of 4 brushes were out of service. Good thing i had a core that was dropped and bent (so it broke one of the magnets), luckily the brush plate and brushes were ok (not great so i will still need to order one for the future). Funny thing is that it only "coughed" a couple of times, so should know for long trips to have a spare brush plate in the toolbox (it's easy to replace, the more involved part is to take the starter out).
anyway, that's my rant for today.
