Hey All,

Most know me as kidwired, I'm an old timer from PBB and a member of RPS. I have a 94 YJ SOA on 35's, detroit/trutrac and 4.56's, cage, YOBA.
I'm currently bulding some waggy 44's w/ 37" Toyos on MT's. EDIT oopps forgot hi-steer too. I used to work at Specialty Parts, NOS jeep parts, Atlas dealer etc. I now work at a Rock quarry driving a 50 ton truck or lately been driving a Caterpiller 740- an articulating 3 axle, 6 wheel drive, manual diffs, the tires are almost 6ft tall. pretty cool.

Thanks for the welcome Jeff, PBB has grown alot in 7 yrs and I dont particular care for the way it's changed. Theres a lot of good people there tho, SteveN the jeep mod used to be my boss, Lance once got me a job w/ SBC when he worked there. I could go on w/ all the cats that have helped me out.

I love my 4banger and will never swap it out. I really think keeping my rig weight down has worked for me. I keep up w/ my buddies w/ 350's and 60's and when they are asking if anyone brought extra fuel and I still have 3/4's :D  lol

Glad to see a forum dedicated to the mighty 4 banger! it doesnt get  enuff props. My Four Furious Hampsters gets the job done.
I edited my 1st post to include some more info and a couple of pics of my junk.

I have had my 97' Tj for almost two years now. I just recently put jeep Rubicon springs under it to give it a little lift. I also added some Cooper Discoverer STT 31x 10.50's. I also have a pair of 150 watt KC's mounted on the windshield hinges. I will try to get some pictures up. I have a lot of fun with it gettin' it muddy, but I am try to going to try to get some more power out of the 4 banger.

Just wanted to say hello.  I just bought my second Jeep, a black 89 YJ.  It is in fairly good condition for its age and seems to run very well.  I plan to install an RE 2.5" lift with 31X10.50 BFG AT/KO's, and black rockcrawler wheels.

hows it goin, finally an outlet for my 4 banger obsession!  I own a '97 TJ with a RE 3.5" superflex kit on 33x9.50 BFG all-terrains.  The only drivetrain/engine modifications consist of an Airraid intake/airfilter and a D30 axle housing from an XJ with the shafts and gears from the original axle.  This was necessitated after I bent the original housing in several directions and ripped the lower control arm brackets off (man those RE control arms are beefy!!).  anyways looking forward to good times with fellow 4 banger enthusiasts!

Hi,

Im James from Virginia.  I have a 98 Wrangler with the 2" Puck lift and 33x13.50-16.

I've owned this Jeep since 2002, never knew there was a 4banger forum.

I found this forum while searching for stuff for the Jeep.

Later.

I'll post a pic soon.

Its the RE 2" Budget Lift.  The tires rub on the bottom control arms.  But i have learned to not turn the wheel all the way.

It was what I could afford at the time.  Now I have better job make alot more and am thinking about mods or trade in.

It's primarily used for the beach and trail riding.  I have a sportbike to commute on with way better fuel consumption.
