Thank God I found the 4banger forum. I get so tired of bouncing questions of off YJ owners about my engine only to get "swap in a 4.0!"

Rant aside, I'm a Community Corrections Officer in Alabama aspiring to pass the BAR exam one day! Missed it by 4 points in July :(

Can't wait to learn what this site has to offer. Thanks for having me!

New to the group here. I currently have a 2006 TJ with the 2.4 and a 6 speed tranny. I have added a turbo muffler, throttle body spacer, and a cold air intake. It sits on 31" BFG AT's and a 2.5" budget boost.  Still have the 3.73's installed but looking to add 4.10's.    This is my second Jeep with a 4 cylinder, the first was a 93 YJ with a 2 inch and 31's.  I am not angry about the power but would like to add a little more for when I am driving down the highway with a headwind ( I live in North Texas and the winds can blow pretty hard at times)

I look forward to any "good" advice from from anyone willing to share, as well as sharing my own.

Will add a pic at a later time.

Another new member here from Jeepforum (OnecleanYJ over there). I have a white 92 with the 4 squirrlies, a Magnaflow exhaust, 4.0 TB, minor intake porting, and a K&N w/ the airbox restrictor removed. Sits on stock axles with Yukon 4:88's open diffs, 4" RC lift, RE booms shackles up front, Nth Degree zig-zag bar in the rear, TJ flares, 35" MT/R's on 15x8 alloy wheels, TJ flares, 4x4 Posi-Lok, some minor armor, and a sweet sound system  :smokes:

Future plans are to port/polish my old cylinder head, have it re-valves, port my I/M a bit more, possibly change the intermediate pipe from the flange to the cat, and maybe, just maybe add forced induction
also SOA and a Ford 9" rear are hopefully not too far off...

92 YJ. Lifted, 4:88's, 9" rear, 4 wheel disks, some armor, some audio, 35" KM2's, and more

Hey Guys! RecycledTeen from Western Ky checking in here, have had the latest one (YJ) about a year now and am making a few changes every now and then. One thing is for sure tho, I like my 4. Run with a bunch of others that run anything up to and including v8's on full widths. But usually at the end of the day we are still together. That is not to say I go up everything they do, but I try some things.......3,4,5 times  and they do it once! I just have more fun!!!! I got a 2.5 5pd with RC 4" lift, lockedx2, posi lock, skids n' armor, winch, sye, 31's on 8" rims, etc.....
Maybe the pic will post.....

Hey fellow Jeep lovers!

I'm new here, the names Jeff and am from Fargo, ND.  I just purchased my first Jeep from my neighbor and am going to fix it up very nicely.  Its a 1991 Wrangler with the 2.5 4x4.  If I ask some dumb questions please dont flame me, haha.  I used to have a 99 Dodge Ram 4x4 ext cab Sport but sold it due to gas prices.  Now I'm back in the 4x4 world and loving every minnute of it.  My Jeep will be my daily driver as my pride and joy is my 95 Dodge Stealth R/T twin turbo.  I hope to get to know alot of you and hope to help others out also!
Thanks, Jeff :beers: :weee: :guns:
