Hi all!
Just got a 1999 tj from my buddy(he moved away to alaska :'(  ) sad to see him go but he hooked me up with a seller deal! I'm new to this jeep thing! But I'm excited to get into the Jeep life! My other good jeep buddy goes wheeling all the time so eventually soon I'd like to get the tj trail ready! The tj itself has 120k on it the clutch is original I believe, it has a 4.5" skyjacker lift I think not really sure and everything else is all stock.

Greetings from Arkansas.  I have owned a '97 TJ since December of '99.  It was a DD/weekend warrior through most of college, got parked for a while in grad school, started driving it again off-and-on after getting a "real job."  Then we moved to OH for 3 years, the Jeep got left in my dad's barn.  We moved back home last August and I've just recently got the Jeep going again.  Thanks for letting me join the party!

My TJ is what JP Magazine once called "the most limp-wristed Jeep made," it's a 2.5l, Auto (30RH), with A/C, stock axles with stock 3.73 gears.  Modest mods include: lunch box Lock Right in the rear, Daystar "hockey puck" spring spacers, ARB Safari Snorkel, 32x11.50R15 Generic Tire Store ATs mounted on some AR-172 knock-offs.

Keep your expectations low, and you will not be dissappointed!   ;)

I have the same Jeep, and it is REALLY capable, but real power is not something you will find on the list of qualities!  Still, it you CAN improve it, though.  A couple of HP here and a couple of Ft/Lbs there, and eventually you'll have additional power you can feel, but nothing to brag about.
'94 YJ 2.5L with 4" RE lift, Superwinch EPi9.0, FoMoCo e-Fan, SD30 and SD35 w/ARB-5.13, 165A alt., 33" BFG KM2 on 15" AR wheels, Sony sound system, Pavement Ends Hardtop, Hydroboost

Hi, I'm Chad from northwestern Indiana, about 40 minutes north of the Badlands at Attica.  I bought a '95 Wrangler 2.5/AX5/4.10s that seems to be pretty much stock, save for some wheel spacers and TJ rims.   Just looking to learning all I can about my Jeep, already changed the Trans, T-Case, and diff fluids....

Some of you old timers may remember me from the days of the 4 Bangers United Forums. Had quite a few interesting articles and debates on that forum.
I've been out of the loop for a while, a lot going on for me.

I am a semi retired Jeep tech with 25 years experience, so feel free to pick my brain from time to time. Still got the same 1992 YJ now for the past 15 years and really not willing to part with it anytime soon! Got it back then with 64K miles and now got it racked up to 218,000 miles and still going strong!

Besides working on Jeep, Chrysler, and Dodge vehicles, I also have a western act/show that I've been doing for quite a while now. I do whips, knives, tomahawks, ropes, bow and arrow and also done from horseback. I am also a professional and competitive knife and tomahawk thrower, so I got a lot of stuff going on.

Glad to be here and hopefully I can be of help to you here.

Just picked me up a 1995 YJ basic S model with non-working power steering and tired old 4 squirrels under the hood. It is in pretty good shape but has 188,000 miles and needs several things right away but I am enjoying it so far! I had an old Willys in the 80 and used to run around the Catskills man it would go anywhere.
I am about to replace the timing kit and power steering gearbox and do a couple repairs on the hard top and repaint it to be ready for the cold weather, running a bikini top right now. I need tires asap and will be painting or clear coating my hood soon as well, I will also be happy to supply the beer if anyone is close by that loves to wrench!
Any help is appreciated in advance and happy to be here!
