Hey guys,

I've got a 89 YJ that I bought back in 99. I sold it in 2001, to a good friend of mine. A few years ago her and I got married, so I got my jeep back. Now it time to mod the crap out her and build the Jeep we've always wanted.

 GREETINGS FROM SALT FLATS,  Texas!!
My name is Sabrina, I'm 60, and retired Army. I own a 1990 YJ, a 1994 XJ that needs some motor work, and a 1987 XJ that was confiscated at a CBP checkpoint for smuggling drugs, impounded, bought by a friend of mine, and then sold to me.
I am an aerobatic pilot, ride a JAP "Crotch Rocket", compete in three gun matches, reload my own ammo, am a certified welder, and twist a mean wrench.
I play Christian Country, Christian Bluegrass, and Christian Gospel music on anything with strings except a Banjo.
I have been deliriously happily married to my fellow pilot, biker, sharpshooter, and Christian musician for seventeen years.

Hi people,
ive had a few 4x4's in the past and got myself a 94 yj about eight months ago. Been doing bits and pieces to it ever since.
I live near London and had to drive all the way to wales to get it. Well worth the trip.

Hi, I'm new to the forums and new to the Jeep world, I live in Portland, OR and bought a 93' YJ 2.5L in March of this year. I havn't done much, put a 3 1/2 inch lift on it, some 33/13.5/15 Toya's on some Mickey Thompson classic's. I'm so in love, this is by far the best purchase I have ever made. I have a ton of plans for it, in turn will have a ton of questions. I'll post pic's asap.

Hey! I drive a 98 Tj 2.5/AX5.  I've only had it for about 4 months now. Bought it after sellin my 95Yj with the same engine/tranny combo for alot more than i thought i could get outta the old girl :rtfm:  Anywho, bought my 98 from a woman in her late 50's for less than $4K :thumb:  It was completely stock, only 83k on the odo, and still had the OEM top(she had only taken it off twice since she bought it new).  As it sits now i have a set of BrownDog 1" motor mounts, a Zone Offroad 1.25" BL and a set of WildCountry MT's in 31x10.50s.  I did get a 3" suspension lift from Zone for my birthday but havent put it on yet.  I wanna buy some Rokmen upper/lower control arms and a SYE/Tom Woods CV shaft, 4.88s and an Anti-rock for it and do everything at once.  Me and my 5yr old,Alex, go doggin at least 2 times a month in the winter and pretty much every weekend when its nice out. Plus its my "base camp" for bowseason, and my DD now. My Heep is definatly part of my lifestyle :guns:

I love my little engine that can! Buy, I would like to squeeze a few more chipmonks outta her!

PS: I bought my 1st Jeep in 2002 and sold it last year in Sept. Went jeepless for 2.5 months and found my Tj. BTW Reptar(My boy named the Jeep) is Forrest green and is gonna be gettin sprayed OD green this spring!!!

Howdy, Dave here.  I live in Aiken, SC, and I own and drive a JEEP!  Here she is:

I've done a lot of mods to her over the years, all by my own hand, including but not limited to, all of the custom work seen above.

Looks like a snorkel judging by how the airbox is directly under it.

What wheels are those?  Crown Vic P71's?

How's it goin?

Name's Charlie, I've had my 94 wrangler for about 3 years.  It's my first car and has remained dependable since I started driving.  I'm able to fix most everything that goes wrong on it in my driveway.  I'm not into jacking it up to be a monster jeep, but I do rely on it for landscaping/outdoor work (hauling chopped wood, trees, and stone, pulling stumps, trail maintenance, etc.) and to get me through snowy winters.  I keep it in the best repair I can and have spare parts on hand (currently in my stock, I have a rebuilt dana 35 rear axle [150k at time of rebuild], a spare AX5 with 80k miles on it, and a spare 2.5l engine, also bearing 80k, currently undergoing a rebuild).  I pride myself on its condition and want to keep it as long as i can.  At the time I write this I'm working on replacing my suspension (springs and struts), as it's sagging in the jeep's old age.

So far as myself, I'm a 22 year old college student.  I'm into mountain biking, workin on my jeep and any other car i can, and astronomy.  I've lived in CT my entire life and always wanted a jeep (I'm a big guy, and got too big for the power wheels jeeps very quickly, but always wanted one.  So i got a real one when I started driving :D).  I ask myself why I put up with the jeep sometimes, but I'd also miss it if I were to get rid of it.
