Amazing to see them get 500hp from a 2.5L engine, wish we a vendor like this for Jeep engines.
I'd just like to have around 200lbs-ft of torque and I can live with the low hp.
Did you ever seen Hot Rod Magazine's 2.5L Iron Duke build years ago? I think it was pushing 4-500HP. Then there was the Cosworth Project DB (Super Duty 4) although not huge on HP it had a lot of torque.
J.P. Offroad Sponsored Jeep had one in it.
"Power for the lightweight rock warrior comes from a fuel-injected Pontiac Motorsports Super Duty 151 Iron Duke that has been bored & stroked to a robust 200 C.I. Equipped with Chevy LT-1 Corvette rods, and Keith Black forged aluminum pistons, the Duke pumps 145 Dyno'd horsepower and 250 ft. lbs. of torque through a 700R4 slushbox, complete with a custom built converter."
