it has 3 holes instead of one so it atomizes the fuel better so it burns better.

Actually that's incorrect.  They will 4 jets.

Rob spend some time checking out the FAQ there's a lot of stuff in there.

cool i'll take some of these suggestions and try them out next time i go back home from college (car isn't here). i'll probably end up raiding the junkyard, near me there's one with around 15 wranglers. i could probably jack most of the parts you're talking about. might even snag a 4.0 engine, ax15 and transfer case with driveshafts and some beefier diffs.

What do you mean CAR???  Jeeps dont like to be called cars!!!   :nono:

what do i mean car? well i have the jeep which is also back home in philly, but i also have an impala which i would keep for city driving here in richmond, but that is back home, with the jeep. i work on both  pulling whatever necessary from the yards outside of philly. i need A car to get to a junkyard down here and pick up parts and then go home to put them in the jeep. my jeep wouldn't make it to richmond over highway anyway. the engine temp gets real high after 30 mins or so of highway driving.

Jeffy,

So, whats the final work on the injectors?  I mean, which ones did you end up sticking with and what were the gains?  I have a '99 TJ and have been thinking about it... Im also running a K&N intake.  Any suggestions for my set up?

Thanks

I'm running Ford #19 Design III injectors.  BUT if you have a TJ you might want to try the #24 injectors as according to what I found, the TJ's use 23.2psi injectors stock while the YJ uses 17.4psi injectors.  I'm not sure if anyone has tried this though.

So what specific difference did you notice with your Ford 19# IIIs?  Also, do you have intake/exhaust mods?

Thanks

i never ran my jeep wit 100% leaded 110 octane racing fuel. i'd like to run my tank real low adn put  5 gallons of that in to see what happens. honestly i think its gonna be a waste. but im just gonna emss around... :ass: :asshat: :twofingers:  :guns: :stick:

In theory (and I have found out that many times theory and practice do not match up!), the octanes refers to the ability of the gasoline to resist ignition by compression, so unless you have fiddled with your engine to create more compression than what it comes with (either by changing stroke, adding a supercharger or turbo, or by any other method), the only result from using a higher octane gas will be to have a thinner wallet...
