I bet a spacer on the TBI would be WAY more beneficial than on the MPI. The original spacers were made by hot rodders, usually out of dense wood, to extend the chamber in which the fuel and air mixes after the carb for better fuel distribution.
MPI's shoot fuel right into the intake valve, the only benefit from a spacer is more air volume in the manifold (and not by much).
The TBI injects air/fuel similar to a carb, lifting the fuel body WILL actually help mix the particles.
Yeah, so for everyone who wishes to stay with their TBI, I hope someone makes a good spacer soon!
