Topic: anyone know of a common metric size tire around 33x10.50R15

lookin for a 33x10.50R15 only three companies make them, BFG, Interco, and Super Swamper and all of those are high $$$$ tires.

i need something a lil more common around that size but i dont think i can do 12.50's

anyone got any ideas??? how bout a common metric around that size?

You do realize that 'Super Swamper' is a brand under Interco Tires?

You would need to get new rims but you could go with a 255 75 R18 or a 255 80 R17 or a 255 85 R16.  You could also try:  265 80 R16 or 265 75 R17 or 265 70 R18.  Any wider than a 265 and you would exceed your 10.5 inch width limit.

With that small of a tire, I'm not sure if I'd go with a larger dia. wheel though.  That would give you less sidewall protection when aired down.

285/75/16 is a 33X10.5 R16

You could look at getting a pizza cutter size from Super Swamper!!!

You might be better off looking for a 32x11.5x15 as it's more common, I know you mentioned Interco but did you look at the Narrow S.S. 34x9.5?

Why can't you run a 33x12.5? Rubbing? Stock wheels?

Also keep in mind that 34" interco's are comparable to 35" from any other brand.

yes i do realize that SS and interco are the same...i may just have to go with the bfg's lol

reason i want 33x10.50 and not 12.50 is i dont want to decrease my mpg all that much as my jeep is my DD
also my 31x10.50s stick out of the wheel wells alot already and i cant afford new fenders now

so thats my reasoning thanx for the help any way

I run the 33x10.50's BFG AT's and like them.  Wish they made them in the MT.  When these wear out (if ever ) I will be getting 33x10.50 SSR's.  Really like the look and performance of the 10.50's.  Could fit 35's but the TJ performs better on 33's imo.

The original BFG 33x10.5R15's were MT's.  The AT's used to be stuck with 33x9.5R15's, now they have both sizes for the AT's.  I've even considered 33x10.5R15's for street tires.
