You can get the 31" BFG ATs for 16" wheels for $176 a piece plus shipping from Tire Rack. But maybe you want to buy and install the same day and use a local tire dealer instead.
If she's driving on streets that see any rain, I'd say 31" versions of the Bridgestone Dueller AT Revos for their wet-weather traction. These tires do also brake, handle and wear suprisingly well on dry pavement in my experience using them on a YJ. No substitute for good MTs if off-road though.
I noticed some JKs apparently sold new wearing Dueller AT Revos from the factory; maybe that's the Wrangler's OEM tire now. These Revos at 31"/16" wheels run $147 a piece + shipping at Tire Rack and they look pretty good -- but I wouldn't say they're an especially rugged looking design. Of course you may already be using Revos and want to go with something else.
