You want an 8.8 out of an Explorer or Moutaineer. The track width is only slightly narrower than the jeep, uses the 5 on 4.5 lug pattern. If you get a 1995 through 2000, you'll get rear disc brakes also. They are very strong. If you google "8.8 ford axle jeep", you'll find tons of info.
