Thanks. It works well for now as she's my DD, especially since the bad weather is coming and it's gonna bring the salt trucks out  :rant: . I was getting sick of salty water getting splashed up onto the sides of the jeep.  In the pic the tires are pumped to 36 psi.  Before I washed her, I took care of all the other stuff-- tire air, washer fluid, checked the fluids everywhere else, - and also topped off the high beam fluid just for good measure  ??? . For the next week I'll be lowering the pressure in small increments just to find a comfortable psi. The LT tires kill your kidneys on the streets around here!
Yeah, you have to play around with the pressure some.  I run 12.5's on 8.5" wheels so it's similar.  I have to air down to the mid-20's before the tire sits flat.

You actually run the streets with 20 psi?  I think the lowest I would go is 28 psi, but I've never had 12.5's. I would have thought the wider tire would flatten much easier at a higher psi than 20.

You want to run them as low as what gives you the optimum contact patch.  For me, I need to run them around 25-ish.  MTR's have thick sidewalls so they do not flex too much when they are low.

Sorry - A.D.D. -- didn't realize you said MID 20's in the prior statement.

When I had the 33x10.5's mounted on 15x8 cragars I did run them lower. About 30psi in the front and 26.5 in the rear just to flatten the patch. Summertime I run around without the back seat, instatrunk thingy, and keep the back 3 windows out while tucking up the rear of the soft top on top of the roll bars. For about 3-4 months in the winter I run with everything possible in the back to put more weight in the rear.

Reminds me-- I need to mount the hi lift on the instatrunk thingy.
