Hey, Im Mike. I am from Petawawa Ontario Canada. I have been a Jeep owner for 11 long miserable and awesome years. I just got back from afghanistan and bought the wife a 97 4banger TJ SE. We have had it for 2 weeks. I have put a coil spacer lift in it, and tires and MOAB Rims from a TJ Rubicon for now. Bought the machine so she could have an offroad toy so she was not always right seat in my CJ. I would like to Turbo Charge the 2.5L but know little to nothing about turbo charging. Would love to squeeze some extra power out of the little mill. Anyhow, site looks good and I hope to learn lots about 4 cyl jeeps. Thanx.

CJMunky thanks for your service to our country.

I'm Bill.  Just found this forum.
Bought my 95YJ in '03 with 66K miles on it.
Looking for the right upgrade from the AX-5.
This site does look like a good place to learn how to get the most out of the 4 cyls.

Whattup Ladies and Gent's.

Victor R. here from Edinburg,Texas-in the Rio Grande Valley, the very southern tip of Tejas!

Bought a stock 1998 Wrangler, with upgraded Tuffie Console, with lock box. Pioneer Stereo system (200 watts) n two speaker soundbar. Best-Top softop, 31 inch Goodyear Baja All Terrains, Black powder coated American RAcing rims, 5 Speed Manual Transmission, am now at 64,000 miles, K&N air filter, Red colored body and the undercarriage was treated with some anti-rust agents, but I figure since it's 10 years old, I need to add it again.
---------------------No gear changes, no conversions, or mods.-----------------------------
    >>>>HELP! lol<<<<
Currently getting a check engine light, and I believe it to be the Throttle Positioning Sensor, and the gas meter is funky, i total up to 15 gallons held in it, but lies to me and tell's me it's empty at 12 gallons, a ran it dry one day and saw i got around 17 miles city.  But meh, that's fine with me.

I like to go to the beach and go mudding, but I tread lightly because I'm afraid of getting stuck out there at South Padre Island,Tx.  Mudding is fun, and I really almost did a number on myself, almost falling into a small lake/muddy pit about 15ft deep!  Good times!
This jeep is my Daily Driver and my weekend Sin!
I'd like to maximize the engine so I can feel more at Ease when going to the island.
I'm enlisted in the Army National Guard as a Specialist, I go to basic training this August 10 to Fort Benning,Georgia then Fort Sill,Oklahoma; where I return back home at about christmas time.  My M.O.S. (Job) will be 13 Foxtrot-Forward Observer/Fire Support-.  Pretty crazy job, in or behind enemy lines, at the front, scouting, finding enemies, target acquisition/marking, and boy OH boy, the enemy would love to get US! Google it on Mail Call, they have a video.

Much Appreciated!
Victor R.

Hey guys found this site a while ago and lurked but I finally signed up for a proper account. I'm from SE Wisconsin and have a 94 black YJ, recently refreshed 2.5L (new rings/cam/lifters and cleaned everything up), SOA on stock springs, teraflex high steer, Ford 8.8 rear axle, 4.88 gears, and 34x10.5 LTBs.

I also have an 06 Rubicon Unlimited that is my DD but I think the leaf spring jeeps are MORE FUN!

Hello, Well i bought my first jeep 4 years ago when i was 15 and ive been breaking it ever since and enjoying every minute of it  It started as a 91 YJ with a 4 inch lift and all terrains and now it sits on a 4 inch thats sprung over on x terrains, its got a custom cage, bumpers and rocker guards and i drive it every day to school. I dont know where id be without it. Hopefully once im out of college i can spend more time working on it.
