I had to do a bit of repair work to the bee. The JB weld did not hold the thin wire mesh on the wings. I had a feeling it would happen.
It went from this:

To this:

I prefer the look of the honeycomb screen but it was way to flimsy.

That's a pretty cool Bee! How long did it took to build?

My parents bought these decorations last summer, may be you can get some ideas from them. Keep up the good work!!

I know they are dusty

If you want a close up for some details let me know.

Thanks TSD! I can always get ideas from looking as stuff. Those are cool!
The Bee was somewhere between 12-15 hours.

The Mrs. Aunt and Uncle were over just before Thanksgiving. They live in Boulder City NV. They wanted something for their front yard. So I thought a Roadrunner would be kinda cool.

I wanted him to be running with both feet off the ground like he is full on getting it!

The bearings all still turn. I like my projects to be kinda hands on.

I like big butts...

These are for my Father-in-law for Xmas. He's a hard guy to buy for so I thought something homemade would be a nice change.

I thought a couple of small ones would be easier for him to find a place for than one bigger one.

:roflol: I thought the same thing when I made it. I think he is aiming for the hole in the middle of the base.  ;) Looks like he will miss.

It's the angle he's crouching at.  He's not balancing on his feet very well.

Ya, I think he has indigestion and it's messing up his game.
