Welcome,

There are actually a lot of refugees from jeepforums.  I've had an account there from many years back.  Well before they changed servers and forum.  Most of the people know about this forum and seems to feed people over from other forums.  This forum is really only driven by word of mouth.

Hi. My name is Kim.  I am 28 soon to be 29 in October.  Married for a few years now to a great wife and bought a house a couple of years ago.  I work for a vending company.  we fill vending machines in prison visiting rooms and officer break rooms.
Also work at Burger King to help support my jeep problem :thumb:  I have owned quite a few cherokees and wagoneers in the past few years but I kept the first one I ever owned and love it to death.  That would be my 1985 jeep wagoneer.  Can't wait to get it back on the trails as it is in the process of getting a 2.5 FI out of a 92 comanche.
In the mean time I wheel a 96 cherokee that I just put 4.10 gears in locked in the front d30 with a lockright and a welded up 8.8 out back and rides on 36" IROC's.
Found this site from Jesse James.  Thanks.  Been looking for a good four banger site.

Kim

Just ran across this site the other day, while searching for ways to improve my 2.5L engine.  I really like it and don't want to swap it out.  I have owned the jeep since it's purchase. Looking forward to getting some good info off the site.

Sup yinz guyz, I'm from da 'burg and I love jeepin n'at. J/K,  I'm Greg and I've had a 99 TJ 4 popper for 4 years since I was 17. When I was 19 I bought a decked out Grand Cherokee with a 5" lift and Hanson bumpers and some other goodies, needless to say I would rather drive my bone stock TJ so earlier this week I sold the Grand and have been buying stuff to get the wrangler up to par. I'm glad I stumbled across this site because I love the slow cruises with the 4 banger.

Hey Guys,

My name is Drew and I'm from Amherst NY (Buffalo).   I've got a 95 YJ that I've owned for 9 years now.  I purchased it in stock form (white with ugly swoosh sticker decal thing on the side and all) and have slowly been making some upgrades since.

As it stands now:

Engine/Trans - 2.5L stock with venturi (nozzel) removed form air intake, AX5 (which I had to rebuild twice already), SYE and custom CV Driveshaft, Borla Cat Back
Axles - Front Dana 30 with Dana 44 U-joints (open), Rear Ford 8.8 with 31 spline shafts welded tubes and disc brakes (Locked Detroit), 4.88 gears
Brakes - Stainless Braided lines, Lokar emergency brake cables/assembly, rear discs
Steering - Rancho stabilizer, Rugged Ridge 1 ton linkage/ends (drag link, tie rod and all rod ends), JKS Telescoping Trac Bar
Tires & Wheels - 35x12.50 BFG Muds, 15x10 Western Turbines (also have 15x10 black steel rockcrawlers)
Body - CJ7 Conversion with new steel fenders, hood and grille and CJ7 Flairs, Black TJ Hood catches, full teardown for Custom Pumpkin Orange Paint, NO BONDO, NO RUST, NO DENTS, Stainless Steel bolts everywhere, bedlinered interior
Tops and Doors - Bestop Supertop, YJ Half doors, CJ Full Steel doors, CJ7 hardtop, Bestop Bikini/tonnoe/windjammer
Accessories - Warn M8000 (new), Warn 8000i (120ft cable), Hi jack, CB, Bestop Rear Tire Carrier, KC Lights, Custom stereo system with 10" sub (custom box between seats and amp under drivers / very low profile and wheelingweather resistant!), harnesses, roll bar pads, custom rear tow points.......
