Well, just another new Jeep fan from Georgia. Have wanted one for a while and recently got a 95 YJ. Previous owner was a private pilot and plane owner, so he was good on maintenance. But the paint leaves something to be desired. It's a weekender, so I'll tinker as I go along.

Hey, just found the link to this site from Jeepaholics (high Jeffy).  I got a feeling this will be a good place, where power is not king and us under powered  dogs (not) can get off the porch and play without a big dog biting.  Anyway, got a 4-banger, done some mods (winch, fabbed bumper, O.B.A., lift, bommerang shackles, consoles, rock lights, ect.), I'm fairly mechanical, but never claim to know it all, and just wanna hang with guys that know how to pick a good line and run it with skill, rather than powering thier way up.  See you out there, Brad.

Hello everyone,
My name is Bill. I have been out of the jeepin world for about the last 6 years and finally bought another one. It is a white soft top 95 yj that I picked up for 350 dollars.  The best thing is NO rust at all. So The buiding begins. When I bought the jeep it had a brake booster vacuum leak, exhuast leak, and it ground the gears between 1st and 2nd. So new vacuum booster ($60), new shift fork and gasket kit for the tranny ($50), and a new manifold gasket ($10) and while the tranny was out installed a new clutch kit ($110) took care of those problems.  I have a local salvage yard that has 5 yj's in it that I have taken the following parts from. center console ($20), carpet set ($25), roll bar padding ($25), and the great deal of the day a hard top with full doors (even painted white what luck) for.....($300!). So now I have a great running yj to start to work on and all for 950 dollars and a little sweat.
have a great day all,
Bill J.

Hey, myname is Cameron. I am a 16 year old who has a 1991 Jeep Wrangler S 2.5 L. This jeep is my second one is a current project. I wrecked my first jeep due to the fact a valve stem blew out while I was driving next to a canal. The jeep lost control and went into the canal  between to huge trees with my friend and I in it. It damaged the tub, engine block, transfer case, transmissin, front axle, frame, and God only knows what else.  We escaped with only a few scrapes and bruises. I had a severly sprained ankle where the floor rolled up on my foot.

Well after learning a thing or two from here i finally logged on...
thing is, i no longer own a 2.5l jeep... i used to, sold it 5 years ago
but now i have a 2.5L Dakota, 2wd

P&P 4.0 TB, gasket matched the intake, 2" exaust cat back.
last dyno put it at 120 hp at the wheels,
after that i jet chipped it and tossed on a SS header, and did the rest of the exaust in 2" with a flowmaster 44
after i get my injector problem situated it'll go back to the dyno this summer

Seems like hardly anyone is on there anymore.  It really slowed down the past few months.

Last few years there has been a huge drop in many of the forums.

I got my jeep 4 years ago from Wheels and Deals. She was owned by this lady, cook really good care of it. But it was a complete chick car, the license plate said "BLONDI" on it... I had them change that before i bought it.

So until recently I finally started putting more money into the jeep.
So far she stands:
3.5" RC lift (2.5" springs, 1" Shackles)
Complete MSD Ignition
Electric Fan mod
33x10.5 BF Goodrich MTs on some cheap steel wheels

so far The jeep has only seen mild trails and empty muddy lots. looking to expand her horizons in a couple weeks... oh and I call it Her cause I named it ruby lol.
