He's gonna need to be real hungry. That latest one is the biggest insect I have made. That bolt is HUGE! The tail section is a T-stat out of a car.

Yes and no. I bought a bunch of old wrenches of ebay. I have some ideas for some of them.
But, I was asked to make a couple of these birds so I thought if I am gonna build a couple, I'll use up the rock that I had.


I can always use broken/unwanted parts

The guy filling in for our Mayor (don't ask I have no idea what happened to our Mayor)his kid goes to the school. Anyway he just called me and wanted to know if I would donate a sculpture to a silent auction to raise money for the school district. I told him I would make something. It's $150 per plate for the dinner so I hope there will be some big spenders there!

I like that second one.  The rock birds are kind of more whimsical.

I like the parts/wrench type stuff better too. The Mrs. likes the yard birds.  :confused: It's all fun to do.

I'm gathering parts for a rooster, it should be about life size. I have wanted to make one for a while now. I need to figure out the tail feathers.

I kinda let the parts and pieces I have determine what I build. So far nothing is screaming squirrel  :lol:
